Carleigh Long, Breeder/Trainer/Owner of Magnolia Pearl Retrievers
Breeder/Trainer Carleigh Long
Carleigh grew up in California- Napa Valley to be precise. All through her childhood, as long as she could remember, she’s had a dog attached to her side. She puppy raised and eventually trained many dogs for some very well known service dog organizations. Puppy raising is a crucial part in the beginning stages of a service dog, and it is an incredible learning opportunity.
Carleigh attended Bergin University of Canine Studies, the only accredited university dedicated to canine studies, where she got her Bachelors in Cynology and her Associates of Science in Assistance Dog Education. Carleigh went on to become a dog trainer with Southern Diabetic Retrievers, which landed her in South Louisiana. Now she is a dog trainer, running puppy classes and private training sessions.
Magnolia Pearl
Magnolia is Louisiana’s State Flower and a southern staple. Magnolia flowers are referred to as symbols of perseverance, beauty, and sweetness. The white magnolia flower symbolizes perfection, and paired with the universal symbol of wisdom and serenity- Magnolia Pearl came alive.
Working dogs are our passion, and retrievers are our wonderful contribution to such passion. Active in real-life hunting, hunt tests, and sanctioned sports, our retrievers are well rounded specimens of the breed.
